How to Check JAMB 2017 UTME Results

According to media reports, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the result of the Computer Based Test of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, for the 57,000 candidates that wrote the examination on Saturday.

As we have just stated, JAMB has started releasing results for the 2017 UTME that started on 13th May, 2017. Follow the procedure below to check your result.

Procedure:

  1. Login to your profile on www.jamb.org.ng
  2. Locate the box that says “Check 2017 UTME Examination Results“.
  3. Click on it.
  4. It should either display your result or tell you “No Result Yet”

If you have no result yet, please be informed that JAMB usually release results in batches. Even if someone in your day schedule has seen his/her result, you still need to exercise some patience and keep checking until your result is finally released.

Good Luck to all candidates!

Updates from Candidates that have tried checking

1. Kezi (4.57 am)

Ehmmm …..I just read that jamb is realising the results in batches and also after malpractice investigation. This should sound like a note of warning to all candidates especially those who have been clamouring for expo and leaving their details as I have observed from the other threads. It’s been rather her alarming and horrifying.

It seems they have choosen to ignore d fact that these centers have cctv and functional ones too! I wonder what they think they are 4. Please do not allow yourself to be harangue and coarsed by some unscrupulous elements with d promise of glory.

How would you feel if your results where to be withheld and cancelled after months of hard work and studies because of exam malpractice in your center because of a few lazy ppl who wants everything in life to be handed to them on a plate of gold….and honestly the examination wasn’t that bad for any one who had studied.

I am also aware there are some people who have taken this exams several times over and should learn from previous experience, don’t get it wrong this time, just because ppl have been doing it and getting away with it doesn’t garrantee you would. Just don’t let your future be hijacked….Am jus sayin….Anyway am still awaiting my result since 13th and d portal jus won’t open and now am an insomniac.

2. Grace (7:42 am)

The site is back!! but it’s still saying “You have no result yet” na wa oh

3. Amusa (7:45 am)

Jamb’s website is now active. The reply I got was; no result yet.

More Reports

According to media reports, racketeers have allegedly duped some of the candidates by selling fake examination questions they tagged, ‘origi’ for N200,000. JAMB latter discovered that the questions were the JAMB questions in 1984.

Speaking to journalists after monitoring the examination on Monday, the Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede disclosed that the result of UTME that was taken on Saturday by over 57,000 candidates had been released. He also said that the examination could not go on at the Lagos State University of Technology, LAUTECH because of the ongoing strike in the institution, saying that if the strike was not called off by today (Monday), the authorities of JAMB will have no other option than to relocate the candidates to University of Ilorin which he said was the nearest centre from Ogbomosho.
